IBS' product range with the highest turnover is the flood protection sector. The materials used in this sector and the required processing accuracy have a decisive influence on IBS' machine fleet and the qualification focuses of our employees. IBS has large production centres and capacities in the field of chipping technology and welding methods, especially with respect to the production of aluminium constructions. Aluminium (approx. 1000 t per year), black and stainless steel  (approx. 500 t per year) processing in average tolerance ranges of larger than 1/100 millimetre denotes our objectives and orientation as a powerful medium-sized company. This places our company in the demanding light metal and steel construction sector with subsequent chipping as well as in the machine construction sector.

Our three product ranges flood protection, stop logs and spill barriers supplement each other ideally with respect to materials, know-how and machine fleet. To ensure the full utilization of our capacities, we are also a powerful partner in the field of mechanical engineering to compensate the seasonal fluctuations in the demand for flood protection systems.

Our company pursues global business activities to secure its independence from regional fluctuations besides its involvement in sophisticated steel and machine construction.
